The working principle of ultrasonic welding machine

The ultrasonic welding machine converts the 50/60Hz current into high-frequency alternating current through the ultrasonic generator, and the electric energy is input to the ultrasonic transducer to produce mechanical motion of the same frequency. The mechanical motion is transferred to the ultrasonic welding joint through the amplitude modulator device, and the welding joint transmits the vibration energy received to the joint of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, the energy is converted to heat through friction, melting the plastic.

The transient pressure maintained on the workpiece after the vibration stopped causes the two weldments to solidified into one by molecular linkage. Generally, the welding time is less than 1 second, and the welding strength obtained can be comparable to the body.

Usage:

1. Connect one end of the cable to the output control cable connector on the vibration cylinder, and the other end to the output control cable socket on the back of the electric box, and tighten it.

2. Clean the connecting surface of the welding head, connect it to the transducer of the vibrating cylinder, and lock it with a wrench. Note: When connecting, make sure that the welding head is consistent with the two connecting surfaces of the transducer, and lock them tightly. Do not cause damage to the machine due to the phenomenon that the connecting screw is too long or the sliding tooth cannot be locked, otherwise the sound wave transmission is not smooth.

3. When loading and unloading the welding head, two wrenches must be used to jam the welding head and the transducer respectively. It is not allowed to lock or load and unload only one part of the welding head, so as not to cause damage to the portable vibration cylinder.

4. Check the installation of points 1 and 2 properly, plug the power cord socket into the external power socket, and pull the power switch, then the power indicator light.

5. Gently press the acoustic wave control switch, then you can hear the "squeak" sound from the welding head when the acoustic wave is transmitted to the welding head, which indicates that the machine works normally and can be put into use.
